I love it when I look through my music folders and find cool thing that I either never knew I had or that I had forgotten about for a very long time. Yesterday I went looking for some new music to listen to and I fell upon an entire folder of Nickel Creek. I love this group because their their songs are fun and interesting. It is one of the few groups where I actually listen to the lyrics instead of just the music. Besides they have kept me entertained for the past day and a half while I have been making more bad pixel masks. Finally, that project should be pretty much completed and I will be able to focus solely on making the debris disk simulator work( this shall be fun and complicated). I was working on it two weeks ago and I was able to reproduce the results of current papers. I was happy with this and went home late that night. The next day I plugged in the same numbers so I could see how the different properties were going to affect the results. Well when it finished the simulator gave me back an entirely new answer (go figure) where the new results were 3 orders of magnitude off from the previous days results.
Well I am off to snag some lunch and work my rear off this afternoon troubleshooting.

ABQ, Graduations, Weddings, and Friends
So finals week finished off with a bang and I quickly left toward a weekend of excitment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. On the way there I had a lot of time to think and reflect inward. I did think about how the semester went and how school ended up sucking for the first time in my entire life. I have always had bad days or even months but never in my whole life was I actually excited about leaving it all behind me. I did not even feel guilty about any of it. If I left that day and never returned, I can honestly say that I would not have missed it. Since then I have smashed a little bit of reason into my head and came back to work and try to wade through the mess I have been given and the nastier one I created myself. But I digress. So I went to Las Cruces and stayed con mi abuelita. It was nice and I did a few things around the house for her before I left the next morning. So I am cruising up to ABQ and am awestruck but the beauty of the state I used to live in. It was all green and alive; Arizona only wishes it could be as beautiful. Elephant Butte was wonderful and full for once so there was a long shore line you could see down.
